Tuskegee comes into Saturday falling in its last contest against Spring Hill, while holding a 4-1 mark over the last five games. TU currently sits third in the SIAC West standings, trailing Kentucky State by two games.
Guards
Brittney Bolin and Sumayiah Abdur-Rahim both average over 12 points, 3.5 assists, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in the starting backcourt. Bolin has scored in double figures in 16 of 21 games, while Abdur-Rahim has crossed the double figure mark in 14 games this season.
TU is 9-0 this season when holding teams to less than 60 points and 8-6 when outrebounding the opposition. The team is also 9-1 when scoring more than 65.
Tuskegee is currently No. 2 in defensive three-point percentage (.232), No. 3 in the SIAC in field goal percentage (.395), three-point percentage (.304), and assist-to-turnover ratio (0.72).
CSU holds a 10-14 record overall this season, including a 7-10 mark in the conference.
The Marauders have displayed a balanced attack on the court offensively, with six different scorers averaging at least six points per game, led by Abbigail Peterson (10.6) and Camryn Nadir (10.5) points per contest. Dashanti Miller averages a team-high 8.2 rebounds along with 8.5 points per game.
Central State is averaging 67.8 PPG on .340 shooting (.266 from three) while giving up 72.3 PPG on .384 shooting (.262 from three), and currently sit fifth in the SIAC West standings.
Kentucky State holds a 17-6 record on the road this season, including a 13-4 mark in the conference, currently second in the SIAC West.
The Thorobreds are led on the court by the double-digit scoring duo of Gracen Kerr and Taleah Dilworth, at 17.1 and 14.6 points per game respectively. Kerr is tied for the league-lead in points per game and 5.0 assists per game.
KSU is leading the league at 74.2 PPG on .424 shooting (.295 from three), while giving up 68.6 PPG on .399 shooting (.304 from three). They also lead the league in assists per game (14.3).
