Reigning SIAC Women's Newcomer of the Week
Cynaye Bobbitt has been on a tear recently, recording her first career double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds along with going 4-for-9 from the field with two threes, three assists and two blocks in the 69-62 overtime win over Lane (Feb. 10). The junior followed that with 12 points and ten rebounds against LeMoyne-Owen, her second straight double-double.

Meanwhile,
Sumaiyah Abdur-Rahim and
Brittney Bolin continue to be a consistent presence in the backcourt for the Golden Tigers this season. The duo combined for 18 points, ten assists, and eight rebounds against LeMoyne-Owen and have combined for 29 double-figure scoring outputs, with both averaging 12.4 points per contest on the season.
Fellow starters
Arielle McElroy and
Jasmine Manuel have also been contributors, as McElroy averages 8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals per contest, while Manuel leads the team with 6.2 rebounds per game to go with 7.9 points per game.
Spring Hill enters the weekend at 5-15 overall and 5-11 in league play. When last seen, the Badgers defeated Lane, 70-63, to end a four-game slide. The team has displayed a balanced attack, with five players averaging over 5.0 points a game and four over 4.0 rebounds.
Marta Duda and Kellyn Hunter lead the Badgers in scoring at 15.2 and 13.0 points per game, while Yolanda Nelson averages 8.9 points per contest.
The Badgers are a solid defensive team and only give up 69.2 points a game while bringing down 26.5 defensive boards a game. Offensively, they average 61.0 points per game, with shooting splits of 36 percent from the floor, 28.9 percent from three, and 72.8 percent from the free throw line.
