TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Tuskegee Women's Basketball team will face Allen University in a crucial conference battle on Saturday, December 21 at 1:00 p.m. inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center.
The Golden Tigers enter the contest with a 3-7 overall record and are seeking their first SIAC win, as they are 0-3 in conference play. They are looking to break into the win column in conference play after falling in their previous two games and on a current four game skid overall.
Allen University, on the other hand, enters with a 3-5 record and holds a 3-1 mark in the SIAC, coming into the game on a two-game winning streak.

ABOUT TUSKEGEE (3-7, 0-3 SIAC)
Tuskegee has had an up-and-down start to their season, facing both victories and tough losses. In their last contest, they were narrowly defeated by Benedict at home with a heartbreaking buzzer-beater.
Tuskegee has a pair of double figure scorers, despite the losses. Leading the Golden Tigers offensively is
Brittney Bolin, who is averaging 13.7 points per game.
She is followed closely by
Hilani Cantone, who has contributed 10.1 points and five rebounds per game.
Jasmine Manuel has also been a consistent force, averaging 7.3 points per game and leading the team in rebounds with seven per contest.
Defensively, Tuskegee has been resilient, often keeping opponents to low scoring totals, but turnovers have been a challenge, with the team averaging 16 turnovers per game.
The Golden Tigers have shown improvements in various areas, including free-throw shooting at 71.7 percent, but they will need to capitalize on their shooting efficiency and improve on turnovers if they are to compete in this matchup.
