TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee women's basketball are set to return to the court on Saturday afternoon as they remain on the road to face Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) opponent Kentucky State, followed by their final game of the four-game road stand against Central State on Monday afternoon.

The Golden Tigers continue to show they are among the top teams in the conference, coming off a pair of road SIAC wins to improve to 8-0 on the year. Overall, Tuskegee is 11-3, with non-conference wins over Delta State (Nov. 11) and Mississippi College (Nov. 12).
 
Ashiala Jackson (Merrillville, Ind.) leads all scorers on the season with 14.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, while JuToreyia Willis (Chattanooga, Tenn.) follows at 12.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per contest. Meanwhile, Nadia Thorman-Mckey (Evanston, Ill.) and Brittney Bolin (Trophy Club, Texas) also average double figures at 12.3 and 11.3 points per game respectively, while Arielle McElroy (Bolingbrook, Ill.) is right behind at 9.6 points per contest.
 
Kentucky State is coming in with a .500 record at 6-6 overall and 4-3 in the SIAC, while maintaining a 4-2 record at home inside the William Exum Center. The Thorobreds have dropped three games in a row, with their last being a 64-57 game against Clark Atlanta (Jan. 4).
 
Meanwhile, Central State comes in at 6-6 overall, including a 4-3 mark at home so far along with being 5-2 in SIAC play. In their last contest, the Marauders also fell on the road to Clark Atlanta 72-63 (Jan. 2).
