TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Golden Tiger women's basketball team is set to host a pair of Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) games at the Daniel "Chappie" James Center, beginning with LeMoyne-Owen on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Tuskegee (13-3, 10-0 SIAC) is coming in hot, winning four straight games and remain unbeaten in the conference and inside of "Chappie" James on the year. They started 2023 with four road SIAC games, defeating Alen (Jan. 2), Benedict (Jan. 4), Kentucky State (Jan. 7), and Central State (Jan. 9).
LeMoyne-Owen comes into the matchup with a 5-10 overall record and 2-5 in the SIAC. The Magicians fell, 84-72, in their last conference game against Miles on January 9, before defeating Arkansas Baptist College, 64-61, on January 11. They are currently 1-7 away from home on the year.
Meanwhile, Lane enters the weekend at 10-4, and 6-2 in the SIAC. The Dragons are 5-2 both at home and on the road, however, took a 59-57 loss against Miles (Jan. 7) in their last matchup.
