TUSKEGEE, Ala. – After a historic win last week over West Alabama, the Golden Tigers will look to carry that momentum home with them as they host Allen University at the Cramton Bowl on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
The matchup will also serve as the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) opener of the 2022 season, along with being the Hall of Fame game for Tuskegee where they will celebrate the 11-member class of the 2022 Tuskegee Athletics Hall of Fame.

GAME NOTES
- Allen and Tuskegee have met just four three times in program history, with a three-game series from 1950-52. The programs will meet for the first time on the gridiron in 70 years with Allen rejoining the SIAC in 2020.
- The matchup on Saturday will also serve as the Hall of Fame Game, celebrating the 11-member Tuskegee Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
- Two Golden Tigers earned SIAC weekly honors last week in the win with Zelly Aldridge (Gallion, Ala.) being named Defensive Player of the Week and Arnes Huskic (Jacksonville, Ala.) named Special Teams Player of the Week.
- With their win last week over West Alabama, the Golden Tigers (1-2) earned the 700th official victory in program history, most among all HBCUs regardless of division, and trail only Pittsburgh State in the all-time Division II rankings.
- The historic 700th win belongs to Reginald Ruffin, which is his first at Tuskegee and his 66t overall as head coach.
- Tuskegee picked up 14 votes in Tuesday's newly released BOXTOROW Division II Coaches poll, just 10 votes behind tenth ranked Lane, and just behind Savannah State (19 votes) and Bluefield State (18 votes).
