BIRMINGHAM, Ala. I Tuskegee (22-9, 15-1 SIAC) picked up a pair of wins in a Saturday doubleheader against Miles College in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play by scores of 9-0 and 14-4 in the final road conference series for the Golden Tigers.
Tuskegee 9, Miles 0 (5 Inn.)
The Golden Tigers led from start to finish in game one, taking the lead in the first when
Kaeley Roldan (Wahiawa, Hi.) was driven in by
Jada Chadwick (Columbus, Ga.) who reached on a fielder's choice.
Tuskegee added six in the second inning, starting with
Kendra Gibbons (Lineville, Ala.) knocking out a two-run homer to take a 3-0 lead. Three batters later, Roldan tripled to right field to drive in
Myracle Hawkins (Morrow, Ga.) and
Dyamond Brown (McDonough, Ga.) for the five-score lead.
They added two more suns in the third off Miles errors with Gibbons and Hawkins both crossing the plate for the second time of the game for the 9-0 final.
Tuskegee was led by a trio of hitters with a pair of hits in Brown, Gibbons, and
Cecelia Tennessee (Houston, Texas).
Gibbons also recorded two runs and two RBI in the win.
Ayriana Stoneback (Notasulgia, Ala.) picked up the win in the circle, allowing just two hits and striking out seven in five innings.
Tuskegee 14, Miles 4 (6 Inn.)
The bats remained hot for Tuskegee in game two, starting with three runs in the opening inning. Tennessee scored the first run on a single from
Kayla Wright (Millbrook, Ala.), who later scored on a groundout before Hawkins scored on a sacrifice fly from Gibbons for the third run.
The Golden Tigers doubled their score in the second, as Chadwick hit a two-run homer to also bring home
Nylah Strange-Lindley (Sulphur Springs, Texas). Later in the frame, Wright doubled to center to drive in a run to take a 6-0 lead.
Tuskegee added another three runs in the third, one in the fifth and four in the sixth for the 14-4 final. Miles got on the board with a run in the fourth on an RBI single and scored three more in the fifth for their four scores.
Wright led the way at the plate in game two going 4-for-5 while scoring two runs and four RBI. Chadwick and Tennessee also had successful games, earning three hits each. Roldan started the game in the circle, picking up the win. The freshman allowed six hits and four runs while striking out two.

Tuskegee return to play on Wednesday, April 20 with a road doubleheader at Point University. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST.
