TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Tuskegee women's basketball program will host Columbus State in a doubleheader event, with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m., inside of the Daniel "Chappie" James Arena on Friday evening.
Tuskegee (6-1, 4-0 SIAC) has won four straight games to open the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) slate, including sweeping the series Clark Atlanta, since falling in a rare non-conference matchup against Albany State on November 15.
Columbus State (5-1, 0-0 PBC) is also entering the contest on a win-streak, after defeating their last five opponents after dropping their season opener to Chowan, 68-66, on November 11.

GAME NOTES
- The Golden Tigers currently have four starters who boast double digit scoring averages, including Ashiala Jackson (Merrillville, Ind.) and Brittney Bolin (Trophy Club, Texas) with 13.6 and 13.4 points per game. Jackson is also leading the program in rebounds with 8.6 per contest along with 1.6 steals per game, while Bolin also averages 4.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per.
- Not far behind is Nadia Thorman-Mckey (Evanston, Ill.), who is coming off her first double-double against Clark Atlanta, with averages of 12.9 points, 5.7 rebounds in just under 23 minutes of play, while JuToreyia Willis (Chattanooga, Tenn.) averages 11.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and team-highs of 5.4 assists and three steals per game.
- Tuskegee has also had strong shooting splits so far, shooting 41.4 (196-for-474) percent from the floor so far and 32.4 (33-for-102) percent from three-point range on the year.
- The program has also shown it is among the top in the SIAC, ranking near the top in scoring, scoring defense, scoring margin at 71.3 points per game, 50.7 points allowed, and 20.6 differential. They also rank well in the conference among defensive ratings, including the lowest field goal percentage defense (.327) and three-point percentage defense (.159), while being second in steals (12.7).
