The Tuskegee University Volleyball team topped rival Miles College in straight sets Wednesday evening at the Chappie James Center (25-20, 28-26, 27-25).The win made it two out of the last three on the season and 13 victories out of the last 14 matches against the Golden Bears.
Crystal Hall led the team with 15 kills and 20 digs. Erin Moore added 10 kills and 20 digs of her own for the Golden Tigers while
Takeba Dowden chipped eight kills.
Syncere Ellis chipped in with 17 digs.
Santana Lewis paced the team with 28 assists.
Skegee outscore Miles 57.0-35.0 in points, 50-24 and 46-22 in assists. The Golden Tigers did not allow one single Golden Bear to notch double figures in kills. La'Promise Boone led them with seven.
TU returns to action Thursday evening with a non-conference home match with Oakwood College at 6 p.m. The game can be seen live on the Tuskegee Digital Network.
