In game one, fewer hits still actually spelled out a win for the Panthers, as TU fell 4-3. The Panthers got their offense started when Jason Howell hit a solo homer to put his team up 1-0. In the bottom of the first inning, TU tied things up at 2-2 when Matthew Reed homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
CAU pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. Lovell Oatis and surrendered two runs on five hits over five innings, striking out one for the Panthers.
Christian Marshall led things off on the hill for Tuskegee . He gave up four runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Skegee racked up seven hits in the game with Caleb Nelson and Dominic Johnson all collected multiple hits for the Golden Tigers . Johnson and Nelson each added two hits to lead Tuskegee University .
Howell went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Panthers and didn't commit a single error in the field.
In game two,
Savontae Williams pitched five innings and struckout six batters, but it would not be enough to get past the Panthers, who shutout out Skegee, 2-0. The defeat has now given TU eight consecutive losses. Neither team generated much offense. In fact, the runs posted came in the fifth inning when Clark's Ceontae Bran grounded with a sacrifice bunt that score Demoni Bradl., giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead.
CAU added one more run for insurance in the seventh inning when Jordan Johns singled to left field which drove in Joshua Olive.

TU closes out the regular season Saturday with two more games left against Clark Atlanta Saturday afternoon at 12:00 p.m. The two-game set will also feature Senior Day from Paterson Field.
