The Tuskegee University softball team earned conference wins number three and four after sweeping through a pair Saturday afternoon games over Kentucky State in Frankfort, KY.  The Golden Tigers took game one 9-5 and game two 11-7.
 
A huge fifth inning proved to be the difference as TU piled up five runs to take full control in game one.
 
After a first inning homer from KSU's Zubiate, the Thorobreds led 1-0 but, Marbury answered the call in the second after she grounded out to score Cece Tennessee. Kiah Dumas would later score 
Myracle Hawkins and TU found themselves ahead 2-1.

Chelsea Mowery single up the middle that scored 
Kendra Gibbons pushed Skegee's lead to 3-1. The flood gates opened in the 5th inning after Mowery reached on a throwing error, another scored run by Gibbons and a homer by Marbury which made the scored 8-1.
KSU made a rally by adding four more runs sandwiched between Mowery again reaching on a fielder's choice to round out the scoring.
 
Jamea Lyons earned the win for TU.
 
In game two, Tuskegee had five to notch multiple hits, which eventually led to an 11-7 win and the team's fifth straight victory.
 
Early in the  game, Gibbons singled to left field, scoring Wright and 
Sierra Smith for a quick 2-0 lead. After KSU point their first run on the board, the Golden Tigers added two more after a Hawking single that drove in Gibbons. Marbury's sacrifice bunt brought in Tennessee, making the score 4-1.
 
KSU would rally and claim the lead midway through the contest, which included a four-run fourth inning, which made the score 6-4, Thorodreds.
 
TU would add seven more runs and turned up its defensive intensity holding KSU to only one more run finalizing the game at 11-7.
Tuskegee and Kentucky State will battle once more Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET
 
Mowery earned the the win in game two and struck out two batters.
