Cheyenne Williams scored a season high 22 points and grabbed six rebounds, but fourth quarter turnovers proved to be the difference resulting in a 86-73 loss at Lane College Saturday afternoon at J.F. Lane Arena in Jackson, Tenn.
Caleb Washington was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Taylor Miller made three-three pointers notching 12 points of her own.
Lane was led by Antrice McCoy, who scored a game high 30 points on 7-of-9 shooting with 16 of her points coming from free throw line. Chole Roberts, the only other player in double figures for the Dragons added 21 points and six boards.
TU trailed at the end of the first period 21-13 but outscored the Dragons 24-16 in the second, which tied the contest at halftime 37-37. The biggest disparity was the fact that attempted 51 free throws versus 28 by the Golden Tigers. Dispite the loss, Skegee shot 46.6 percent from the field.

Shelle Daniels scored and eight and seven points respectively.
The Golden Tigers will play at LeMoyne Owen College in Memphis Monday evening with a tip off that is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
