The Tuskegee University men's basketball team overcame a 13-point deficit at home Monday to defeat Albany State 63-61 and improve to 5-5 and 3-1 in the SIAC.
Myles Thomas came away with a 3-point play with 12 seconds remaining, which gave TU its first lead of the game.
Thomas and
Daniel Roach led the Golden Tigers with 19 points and 14 points respectively.
Cam Grepke and
Gregg Boyd added nine points each, with Grepke also pulling down eight rebounds.
Tuskegee plays one more game before the start of the holiday break when they travel to face Shorter College in Rome, Ga. Tip off is set for 3 p.m.
