The Tuskegee University women's basketball team pushed its winning streak to five games in a row with a 58-52 win on the road over Paine College in Augusta, (Ga.) Saturday afternoon. The Golden Tigers improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play while also remaining undefeated on the road.
Alexis Carter earned her fourth consecutive double-double and sixth of the season through seven games scoring 16 points and grabbing 13 rebounds against the Lions. The Senior forward also contributed four blocked shots. Both

Jade Wilson added 11 points apiece while Wilson also hauled in six boards.
Shelle Daniels fell just shy of achieving a double-double pouring in 10 points and eight rebounds. Â
