Alexis Carter scored a her third double-double of the season and the Tuskegee University women's basketball team secured a 49-41 win over Auburn University-Montgomery. The win provided the Golden Tigerettes with a season sweep over the Warhawks, their first since 2013-14.
The game turned out to be a tale of two halves as Skegee outscored its opponent 27-15 at halftime with AUM returning the favor and outscoring TU 26-22 in the second half. Carter, who scored 10 of her game-high 16 points before the break also pulled down another game-high 16 rebounds and three blocked shots. 
Shelle Daniels scored 14 points to go along with her eight boards while 
Jade Wilson chipped in 12 points and six rebounds.
The biggest disparity came in the points off turnovers category where the Golden Tigers won the gap by large margin at 23-4. TU held its biggest lead at the 5:35 mark of the third period when 
Eleana Daniels drilled a three pointer.
Tuskegee (3-1) will have Thanksgiving off before returning to action next Monday at Clark Atlanta.Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m.
