The Tuskegee University volleyball team dropped its third straight match in a Tuesday evening battle at Albany State, 3-1. The victory for the Golden Rams gives them the season sweep over TU.

The Golden Tigers took game one of the season when the teams played in September, but the Golden Rams defeated Tuskegee at the SIAC Crossover later that month. Albany State took the season series, defeating the visiting team 3-1 (25-19, 25-15, 21-25, 25-19).

Jannai Cheeks did not let the long layoff affect her game. She picked up right where she left off and led Albany State (7-13, 7-4) with14 kills. Keonna Hobbs added 11 kills for the Golden Rams while Ciara Chapmanrecorded 41 assists.
 
Takeba Dowden and Cyrani Butler paced Tuskegee (13-12, 10-5) with nine kills apiece.

TU squares off with rival Miles College Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
