After holding a 37-30 halftime lead, the Tuskegee University women's basketball team was outscored by 22 points falling to Benedict College 72-50 in Colombia, S.C. Thursday night. The Golden Tigers have now dropped two in a row and will face Claflin University Saturday afternoon, completing the two-game road swing. 
Jade Wilson scored a game and season high 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting to lead Tuskegee (2-11,1-4). She also made six of her seven free throw attempts and pulled down four rebounds. 
Cheyenne Williams, the only other player in double figures added 14 points along with seven rebounds. 
Ashiala Jackson added six points for TU.
Benedict improves to 4-12 overall and 4-4 in the SIAC. 
Ay'Anna Bey led the Lady Tigers with 18 points. 
Essence Stinnette added 14 points, while 
Camryn Bostick scored a season-high 11 points. 
Jade Wilson led Tuskegee with 22 points.
The Lady Tigers went on a 12-1 run in the fourth quarter to pull away. Benedict held TU to 20.8 percent (5-of-24) in the second half while shooting 43.75 percent (14-of-32) after the break following a 27 percent first half shooting effort.
