WILBERFORCE, Ohio – In a game that was played one day later due to impending weather, Central State held off Tuskegee's late rally falling 68-60 Tuesday afternoon in Wilberforce, Ohio.
The loss drops the Golden Tigers to 2-14 on the year with a 1-7 ledger in conference play while CSU improves to 14-3 overall with a SIAC leading 9-1 record.
Jade Wilson paced TU with 17 points and 12 rebounds while 
Lena Yoonis topped her previous season high of 10 points with a 12 point outing.  The Marietta, Georgia native also collected six rebounds. 
Ashiala Jackson, the only other Golden Tiger in double figures added 10 points and nine boards. 
CSU managed a double-figure lead after the first quarter by outscoring TU, 22-11. In a low scoring second quarter, CSU edged TU, 10-5, and took a 32-16 lead into the locker room.
CSU's lead increased to 18 in the early minutes of the second half but the Golden Tigers responded by outscoring the Marauders, 24-15, in the third period to cut the lead down to seven entering the final quarter.
With the outcome still in question, 
Sierra Harley and 
Jaeda Davis combined to score 17 of CSU's 21 fourth quarter points as the Lady Marauders held off Tuskegee for an eight point victory.
Davis came off to the bench to lead all scorers with 19 points. 
Brooke Spaulding recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Harley finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
