The Tuskegee University men's basketball team fell at home in its conference opener against Morehouse College Saturday evening from Chappie James Arena 74-55.  The Golden Tigers were in action without its leading scorer James Eads, who did not dress and now drops to 0-6 on the season.

Cam Grepke returned after missing the past three games to tie for a team high 12 points along with Gregg Boyd for the Golden Tigers. Travis Flagg added 11 points and handed out five assists while Jaylan Shelton chipped in nine points. 

Tyrius Walker and Omar Alstan paced the Maroon Tigers scoring 15 points each. Alston also added eight rebounds. 

TU returns home to host Clark Atlanta in the second game of a double that is expected to start at 7:30 p.m. Live coverage on the Tuskegee Network  begins at 7:25 p.m.
