The Tuskegee University Volleyball team is all set to host a pivotal match with Miles College Monday night at Chappie James Arena. With only four regular season games left, this will be the first meeting of the season between the two rival schools.

Tuskegee (5-4, 2-7) split a pair of matches over the last two weeks when they defeated Oakwood College (Huntsville) in straight sets 3-0.  The Golden Tigers were swept at the University of West Georgia last Saturday.  Miles (6-19, 3-13), is coming off of a 3-0 win over Concordia College (Selma). Prior to that victory, the Golden Bears had dropped three consecutive.

As TU approaches its home stretch toward closing out the season, every game factors into the Golden Tigers potentially playing its way into the 2017 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Tournament next month in Birmingham.

A year ago, Tuskegee swept the season series winning both matches in five sets. The Golden Tigers and Golden Bears will get things underway at 6 p.m. with live video coverage starting at 5:55 p.m. on the Tuskegee Digital Network.
