TUSKEGEE, Ala. | James Eads paced a pair of players in double figures, but it wasn't enough as Tuskegee University fell to Georgia College 59-51 in non-conference action at Chappie James Arena Saturday.
Eads led Tuskegee with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor, giving him 52 points over the last two games for Tuskegee (0-3). Freshman
Myles Thomas scored in double figures for the first time in his young career, chipping in with 10 points in the loss, while
Travis Flagg finished with nine points and
Joshua Culver nine rebounds in the loss.
The Golden Tigers shot 30.6 (15-of-49) from the floor and just 10.5 (2-of-19) from beyond the arc.
Chaz Berry led Georgia College (2-2) with 14 points, while Brice Booker added 12.
Tuskegee returns to action Tuesday against Montevallo inside Chappie James Arena, with tip scheduled for 7:30 pm.
