FIRST PLAY FROM SCRIMMAGEIn 2014, the Golden Tigers played 12 games and in those 12 games, 10 of those were started off with a running play. This Saturday was no different as

SPECIAL TEAMS MAKES MARKThe special teams made their mark on Saturday. The return game forced Clark Atlanta to kick all over the field with returners
Dennis Norfleet (career record holder at Michigan) and
Devozea Gaines (SIAC All-Conference performer). After the first return by Norfleet electrifed the crowd, Clark Atlanta started kicking away from the duo, including a short punt in the second half.
Not to be outdone, the punt return team scored a touchdown of its own today as
Brandon Griffin covered a fumble in the end zone.
QUOTABLE - WILLIE SLATEROn team's performance ..."We'll take a shutout every game. We're very young up front. We looked good 80 percent of the time and the other 20 we didn't. We have to correct those things as we move forward."
Kicking game ..."It's all on him, Kemuel is a good kicker but he just had a brain lapse today. We'll work on those things and get better."
On next week's opponent, Albany State ..."I don't know what we are going to have to do to beat them. They have a phenomenal team. We beat them twice last year, so they definately feel like they owe us one."
