Tuskegee, AL– The Tigerettes of Tuskegee were unable to defeat the Lady Dragons of Lane College, dropping the contest 60-49. Tiffany Martin paced the Lady dragons with 19-points, five rebounds and two steals.
The Tigerettes jumped out to a 4-0 lead, however with a well-placed three pointer, Lane was able to close the gap. It was a low scoring first half, but the Lady Dragons were able to take a 27-10 lead into the break.
The second half was slightly better for Tuskegee but they were unable to mount a successful rally.
Chelsea Azore led the Tigerettes with 12-points, eight rebounds and two steals, while
Halle Bentley finished with nine-points, 10-rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Demetries McNealey snatched the most rebounds with 11, she also added five-points and one assist.
