Tuskegee, AL– The Thorobrettes took an early lead in the contest and never relinquished it. The Tigerettes were defeated 64-50. 
Tuskegee landed several key baskets to tighten the contest early in the first, however KSU proved to have staying power, proving this by maintaining the lead. Heading into the halftime break, Tuskegee was down 31-18. 
The second half proved to be a battle as each team struggled to one-up the other. Eventually, time expired and the Thorobrettes held the advantage, scoring 33-points to the Tigerettes' 32.   
Rachel Brownlee completed the clash with 12-points, seven rebounds and two steals.
 Demetries McNealey tallied nine-points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal. Chelsea Azore added eight-points. Ashley Huddleston galloped away for the Thorobrettes with 17-points, two rebounds, three steals and three assists.
