David Lunn, Sr. enters his 27th year with the Tuskegee University athletics department, in a role that started in March 1994. He became an official member of the department in April 2002.

His duties include game day operations manager for all sports, assisting head coaches as needed , coordinating athletic transportation and use of athletic vehicles in general. He is also the football operations manager, equipment specialist and any other duties assigned by athletic director.

Lunn is a current member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA ).Â
He is a 1985 graduate of Tuskegee Institute High School, and a 1988 graduate of the Southwest Alabama Police Academy (S.W.A.P.A.).Â
David and his wife, Ardelia Michelle Tyler Lunn, are the proud parents of one son David Lunn, Jr. ( 16 yrs. old ). David has an older son, David Brooks (26 yrs. old ), of Opelika.
