Tuskegee announced the addition of Rodney Coleman to the Golden Tigers staff prior to the 2022 season as the cornerback's coach.
Coleman arrives in Tuskegee after playing four seasons for Ruffin at Miles as a member of the Golden Bears' secondary from 2017-21, playing 41 total games over the span. The New Orleans, La. native accounted for 108 total tackles including 81 solos, while also breaking up 14 passes, three interceptions and a pair of forced fumbles and rumble recoveries. During his tenure, Coleman helped Miles to three consecutive Western Division titles (2018-21) along with two SIAC Championships (2017, 2019) and a runner-up finish in 2018.
