2015 (Senior): Played in 12 games, starting 10 of those games... Named Second Team All-SIAC... Led the team with 25 receptions this season... Finished the year with 414 yards receiving - second on the team... Averaged 16.56 yards per receptio... Averaged 34.50 yards per game - leading the team... Caught five touchdown passes, second on the team... Best game of the season came against Miles with four receptions totaling 50 yards and a pair of touchdowns... Also caught four passes against UNC Pembroke for 54 yards.
2014 (Junior): Played in 11 games, starting all 11... Caught a team-high 29 passes for a team-high 697 yards... Averaged 23.7 yards per catch and 62.5 yards per game... Caught a season long pass of 87 yards, the longest reception of the year on the team... Caught two touchdown passes.
2013 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games, earning nine starts... Caught a team-high 31 passes for a team-high 614 yards... Averaged 19.8 yards per catch and 55.8 yards per game... Led the team with five receiving touchdowns.
2012 (Freshman): Played in 11 games, earning two starts... Caught a team-high 36 passes for a team-high 588 yards... Averaged 16.3 yards per catch, and 53.5 yards per game... Caught a season long 57 yard pass... Tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns, catching three.
High School: Named honorable mention all-region in his only season at Vigor HS, where he helped the Wolves to a win in their first-round state 5A playoff game... Finished with 85 total tackles and five interceptions.
Personal: Son of Virgil and Nina Gardner... Has two siblings... Cousin, Lamontis, played wide receiver at South Alabama... Father, Virgil, played collegiately... Majoring in Sociology.
