TUSKEGEE, Ala. — Tuskegee senior forward
Kusamae Draper has been named the SIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week following his standout performances to close out the regular season.
Draper paced the Golden Tigers across three contests, averaging 18.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 50.0 percent from the field. He totaled 54 points, 20 rebounds, and six assists while playing more than 33 minutes per game.
He delivered his most explosive outing against Albany State, scoring 24 points on 11-for-15 shooting while adding four rebounds and two steals. Draper followed that performance with 16 points and eight rebounds versus Savannah State before closing the week with 14 points and eight rebounds against Edward Waters.
His scoring efficiency, consistency, and presence on the boards provided steady leadership as Tuskegee built momentum heading into postseason play.
Draper and the Golden Tigers now turn their focus to the SIAC Tournament.
