TUSKEGEE, Ala. — The Tuskegee University women's tennis team earned a strong 5-2 home victory over Mobile on Wednesday afternoon at the Pepsico Tennis Courts, improving to 2-2 on the season.
The Golden Tigers secured the doubles point after winning two of three matches. In the No. 2 doubles slot, Gabrielle Blanks and Adjowa-Sika Serena Pascaline earned a 7-5 victory. The No. 3 pairing of Asia McRae and Dayna Jackson followed with a 6-3 win to clinch the early advantage for Tuskegee.
Tuskegee carried that momentum into singles competition, winning four of six matches to seal the team victory.
At No. 1 singles, Ayawavi Vania Dotse delivered a dominant straight-set performance, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-3. Adjowa-Sika was equally impressive at No. 2 singles, winning 6-3, 6-2.
Dayna Jackson added another point in the No. 6 slot with a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory. Taylor Ford battled through three sets at No. 5 singles, bouncing back after dropping the first set to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 and secure Tuskegee's fifth point of the afternoon.
With the win, the Golden Tigers move back to .500 on the season and continue to build momentum early in the 2026 campaign.
