Golden Tigers Begin December Homestand with Allen Thursday, Benedict Saturday

TUSKEGEE, Ala. — The Tuskegee Men's Basketball team returns home this week for a pivotal two-game stretch inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center, hosting Allen University on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and SIAC rival Benedict on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m.

The Golden Tigers enter the week with a 4-2 overall record, including a perfect 3-0 at home, as they continue one of the program's strongest starts in recent seasons.

ABOUT TUSKEGEE (4-2, 3-0 SIAC)
Tuskegee enters the homestand after splitting their last two games. The Golden Tigers started the month with a 67-55 win over Morehouse, holding the Maroon Tigers to just 33 percent shooting while winning the turnover battle. They followed that with a 58-56 loss to Florida Memorial at the HBCU Invitational held at ESPN's Disney Wide World of Sports.

Preseason All-SIAC First Team selection Kusamae Draper continues to lead Tuskegee offensively, averaging 18.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and shooting 55.6 percent from the field on the season.

Transfer guard Khalil Genwright, also a preseason First Team honoree, has stepped in as a dynamic scorer and playmaker, averaging 16.4 points, 3.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. The guard led the team with 16 points along with Draper in the win over Morehouse, his fifth double figure scoring game of the season. Veteran point guard RJ Walker has been one of Tuskegee's most efficient contributors, averaging 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and team-high 2.0 steals per game, while providing important defensive versatility at the guard position.

Tuskegee is averaging 71.4 points per game while holding opponents to 67.0, supported by improvements in defensive rebounding and pace-of-play efficiency.

ABOUT ALLEN (1-5, 0-4 SIAC)
Allen arrives in Tuskegee with one of the SIAC's most explosive scoring teams, averaging 76.2 points per game through its first six contests. The team is also shooting 46.7 percent from the field, the second highest field goal percentage among conference teams entering the week.

The Yellow Jackets are led by Jordahn Johnson, who averages 15.7 points and 6.0 rebounds, including scoring over 16 points in five of six games. Ky'Den Mays adds 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and shoots 55.3 percent from the field. Defensively, Allen generates 11.0 steals per game and forces opponents into 16.8 turnover per outing, one of the league's best turnover margins.

ABOUT BENEDICT (2-3, 2-3 SIAC)
Benedict enters Saturday ranked among the SIAC's top overall teams, powered by an efficient offense and one of the strongest rebounding units in the league. The Tigers are averaging 67.8 points per game while holding opponents to just 63.0, supported by 40.0 rebounds per contestand a +9.8 rebounding margin.

Benedict features balanced scoring across its roster, led by Kameron Foman at 13.5 points. Landon Jeffries contributes 12.8 points, while Cole White (11.8 points) and Caleb Hymon (11.0 points) round ouf the double-figure scorers for the Tigers. Benedict's defense is anchored by physicality in the paint, allowing opponents to shoot just 35.9 percent on the season.
