TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The 2025-26 basketball season will officially tip off on Thursday, Oct. 23, when Tuskegee University men's and women's basketball programs host Skegee Madness at 6 p.m. inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center.
The annual season-opening event will showcase both Golden Tiger teams as they prepare for the upcoming Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) campaigns. Fans can expect an energetic night filled with basketball, entertainment, and community spirit, as Skegee Madness provides a first look at the 2025-26 rosters.
The evening will feature player introductions, skill competitions, interactive contests with fans, and opportunities to hear directly from head coaches Benjy Taylor and Chiante Wester about the excitement surrounding the new season.
Both the men's and women's teams return contributors from last year's squads and welcome several newcomers expected to make an immediate impact.
Skegee Madness will also include performances from the Golden Tiger cheerleaders, creating a festive atmosphere to kick off the basketball year.
