ABOUT TUSKEGEE (0-3)
Tuskegee enters the contest looking for their first win of the season. In their last outing, the Golden Tigers fell in a close 20-16 loss against Savannah State.

Offensively, quarterback Christopher Roberson has passed for 350 yards along with 84 on the ground and a touchdown across three games, while Raequan Beal has contributed 361 passing yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Johnny Morris leads the rushing attack with 90 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns.

The Golden Tigers have struggled to find consistency but are showing improvements each game, especially on defense. Rossie Grimes leads the team with 25 tackles, followed by 20 from Kaquon Kimber. The defense has recorded six sacks this season, with Malik Moore and Javeon Miller contributing key plays rushing the passer.

ABOUT EDWARD WATERS (1-3)
Edward Waters, coming off a narrow 28-31 loss to Benedict, will look to defend their home field and improve on their 1-3 overall record. The Tigers opened the season with a 28-11 win over Morehouse before dropping their next two games.

Quarterback Keith Moore II has been efficient, completing 61.8% of his passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns. The rushing attack is led by Greg Mango, who has amassed 169 yards and a touchdown, while Raveon Moore has contributed 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, Edward Waters has been opportunistic with six interceptions on the season, led by Stephan French, who has three picks. The defense has also allowed 120 rushing yards per game, and will look to contain Tuskegee's ground game

Key Matchups to Watch:
  • Tuskegee's Passing Game vs. Edward Waters' Secondary: Tuskegee quarterbacks will face a tough challenge against Edward Waters' ball-hawking secondary, which has already recorded six interceptions this season. The performance of wide receivers Reggie Brigman and Gabriel Garmon, who combined for over 300 receiving yards this season, will be crucial in testing Edward Waters' defense.
  • Running Game vs. Edward Waters' Run Defense: Tuskegee's rushers will need to establish the ground game early against an Edward Waters defense allowing 120 rushing yards per game. A successful run game could open up opportunities for Tuskegee's passing attack.
  • Tuskegee's Defense vs. Edward Waters' Dual Threats: For Tuskegee defensively, containing both quarterback Keith Moore II and running back Greg Mango will be key. The defense will need to apply pressure and disrupt the Edward Waters offense to slow down their balanced attack.
  • Special Teams Impact: With both teams having solid return games, special teams could be a deciding factor. Karon Taylor leads Tuskegee with a 43-yard kick return, and Stephan French for Edward Waters has been effective in return coverage.
