TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ The Golden Tiger men's basketball team will tip off its Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) schedule on the road, facing off against Albany State on Wednesday, November 13 at 7 p.m. ET inside the Arena at West Campus.

After a tough start to the season, Tuskegee (0-2) aims to bounce back following weekend losses to Christian Brothers and Union, while Albany State (1-1) is coming off a split at the SIAC-GSC Crossover Challenge.

ABOUT TUSKEGEE (0-2)
Tuskegee's opening weekend highlighted areas for growth as they faced strong competition in non-conference play in the SIAC-GSC Crossover Challenge. Despite the 0-2 record, the Golden Tigers showed flashes of promise, especially in their scoring efforts and rebounding.

Kusamae Draper and
Kevin Sesberry led the team against Union with 15 points each, with Draper added three rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes. Sesberry finished with four rebounds and went 2-for-4 from behind the arc in 26 minutes of play.
D'Anthony Pennington added 13 points, shooting an impressive 54.5% from the field to go along with three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Meanwhile, Newcomer Noah Gaines recorded 10 points and four rebounds in the season opener while in just 18 minutes.
The Golden Tiger defensive performance will be an area to watch, as they allowed Union to shoot 59% from the field in their meeting on Saturday, including 58.3% from three-point range. Improving defensive pressure and controlling turnovers will be critical to their success against Albany State.

The Albany State Golden Rams enter this matchup with a 1-1 record. Their season opened with a thrilling 59-56 victory over West Alabama, followed by a narrow 58-56 loss to Mississippi College.
