Lorcan Ryans has been named the SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second straight week following his standout performance in the 30-14 road victory over Central State over the weekend.
Ryans was crucial in securing the win, showcasing both accuracy and consistency in his kicking duties throughout the game.
The Ireland native connected on a key 28-yard field goal in the third quarter, extending Tuskegee's lead and helping the team maintain momentum in the second half. Additionally, Ryans was strong on extra-point attempts, converting 3-for-4 with one blocked to contribute to the team's total score.
Ryans' strong performance on special teams played a significant role in the Golden Tigers' fifth consecutive victory, pushing them to 5-3 overall and 5
-1 in SIAC play. His reliability in the kicking game has made him a vital asset to the team's success this season.
