Women’s Basketball Releases 2024-25 Schedule

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee University women's basketball and second-year head coach Chiante Wester have their sights set for the upcoming 2024-25 season, announcing the Golden Tigers' 26-game slate on Monday afternoon.

Tuskegee's 2024-25 season features 12 games inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center, with the conference slate starting and ending at home. All dates are subject to change, with tip-off times announced later.

The non-conference schedule presents a series of exciting challenges for the Golden Tigers, offering early-season tests against strong regional opponents. The team opens the season on November 12 with a road game against West Alabama, a Gulf South Conference foe that will provide a competitive start to the season.

Next, Tuskegee will head to the northern part of the state to battle another GSC program in UAH on November 16, before the Golden Tigers host a trio of opponents inside the Daniel "Chappie" James with games against West Florida (November 20), Columbus State (November 23), and West Alabama (November 25).

The SIAC campaign tips off with a home contest against Clark Atlanta on November 30, before the final non-conference game of the year with a road battle against North Georgia on December 2. The program then hits the road for the first time in SIAC play with a two-game stretch in Georgia, starting with Clark Atlanta (December 8) and Fort Valley State (December 16).

TU returns home for the next two SIAC games, hosting Benedict on December 19 and Allen on December 21, the final two games before Christmas. The teams return in 2025 with a four-game stand that includes games against Savannah State (January 4), and Edward Waters (January 6), LeMoyne-Owen (January 11), and Albany State (January 15).

Tuskegee moves on to host Central State and Kentucky State on January 18 and 20 respectively for a brief homestand before heading back on the road to face Miles (January 25), Lane (January 27), and Spring Hill (February 1) to enter the final month of the regular season.

February continues with two more home matchups against rival Miles (February 8) and Lane (February 10). The final road trip of the regular season takes TU to Kentucky State (February 15) and Central State (February 17), before closing the season with another two-game home stand against Spring Hill (February 22) and LeMoyne-Owen (February 24).

The 2024-25 SIAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships consists of all teams in the league, at a neutral site to be announced later. The top two seeds from each division will receive a double bye in the first two rounds of the tournament. Seeds three and four from both divisions and seed five from the east division will receive a first-round bye.

All conference games and home non-conference contests will be available on the official channel of Tuskegee Athletics, the Golden Tiger Sports Network. Any additional linear exposures on alternate platforms will be broadcasted at a later date.
