Lorcan Ryans has been named SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week after going 6-for-6 on total kicks in Tuskegee's 36-10 win over Kentucky State last weekend.
Ryans was part of a strong team showing by the Golden Tigers against the Thorobreds, converting all three of his field goal opportunities of 20, 35, and 25 yards respectively in the 36-10 win.
The Limerick, Ireland native also kicked off seven times for 383 yards
__ good for a 54.7 average
__ made three PATs and recorded a pair of solo tackles on kickoffs in just his second game as a Golden Tiger.
Under first-year head coach
Aaron James, the Golden Tigers are off to their best since 2016, winning both games and scoring 73 total points, their most in the season's first two games since 2010.
Next up for Tuskegee is a home opening matchup against Central State on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. inside of Abbott Memorial Alumni Stadium.
