ATLANTA, Ga. __ The Tuskegee University football team was represented by six student-athletes on the Preseason All-SIAC Teams, the league office announced on Wednesday morning. The program was also selected to finish third overall in the league rankings in 2023.
Tuskegee's four first team selections is second behind Fort Valley State, who saw seven on the first team list. The Golden Tigers added a pair of second team selections, one each on offense and defense, to feature members of all three phases of the game.

Tuskegee was picked third in the preseason vote, following an 8-3 record in 2021, and winning the West Division to make the SIAC Championship game. The Golden Tigers bring back experience at several positions, including the six All-SIAC performers. The Golden Tigers are scheduled to open the 2023 season against Fort Valley State on Sept. 3 at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery in the third annual Boeing Red Tails Classic, as part of the Montgomery Kickoff Games on the ESPN family of networks.
