TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Tuskegee men's basketball team will return home this weekend for a pair of Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games over the next four days, with matchups inside of the Daniel "Chappie" James Center on Saturday and Monday.
The Golden Tigers (1-6, 0-2 SIAC) host Morehouse (4-3, 2-0 SIAC) on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., while they host Clark Atlanta (6-0) on Monday evening at 7 p.m. Fans can catch both games on the Golden Tiger Sports Network, with Charles Ward, (play-by-play) and Duane Walker (analyst) on the call.
Tuskegee is seeking its first SIAC win on the year, as they dropped two contests in Georgia last week, falling 80-72 on the road against Fort Valley State, before a 69-67 loss at Albany State. The team currently has three double-figure scorers in guard
D'Anthony Pennington (14.9 ppg) who had a career-high 31 points against Fort Valley State, forward
Kusamae Draper who is averaging 14 points per, along with forward
Martez Jones (13.4 ppg), who has recorded double-doubles in the last two games.
