TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ The Tuskegee men's basketball team will host its 2023 home opener with a matchup with Talladega at the Daniel "Chappie" James Center Wednesday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
Fans can catch Tuesday's game on the Golden Tiger Sports Network. Charles Ward, (play-by-play) and Duane Walker (analyst) will have the call.

When last seen, the Golden Tigers registered an 75-39 neutral site rout over Cheyney in the Chris Paul HBCU Tip-Off on Sunday night, led by a career-high 22 points from sophomore forward
Kusamae Draper and junior guard
D'Anthony Pennington, who finished with 16 points and six assists against the Wolves. The victory gave Tuskegee its first win of the season.
Draper went on to be named to the All-Tournament Team, claiming the honor after his performances in the two games last weekend, averaging 17.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in the two-game event over the weekend, helping Tuskegee go 1-1.
On the season, the Golden Tigers are led by a trio of double figure scorers in Draper (15.5 ppg), Pennington (14.5 ppg), and junior forward
Martez Jones, averaging a double-double at 12.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest.
Talladega is heading into the contest at 5-1 overall, with wins over Birmingham Southern (Nov. 4), LeMoyne-Owen (Nov. 8), and Tougaloo (Nov. 14), before defeating both Shaw (Nov. 17) and Fayetteville State (Nov. 18) last weekend in the HBCU Classic in Atlanta. The lone loss for the program this season is a 53-51 loss on the road to Miles (Nov. 11).
