TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Former Tuskegee women's basketball player
Nadia Thorman-Mckey has signed a professional contract to play for ZKK RMU Banovici in Bosnia.
Thorman-Mckey becomes the second Golden Tiger from last year's roster to sign to play professionally overseas this offseason, along with JuToreyia Willis (Switzerland).
ZKK RMU Banovici plays in the Bosnia Division I league, the highest level of league competition for women's basketball in the country. The team finished last season 19-6 in league games.
Thorman-Mckey contributed 11.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 25.6 minutes per contest in her lone season playing with Tuskegee, after coming in as a transfer. She scored in double figures in 20 games and recorded a pair of double doubles on the year, helping the Golden Tigers go undefeated in regular season conference play along with winning the 2023 SIAC Tournament Championship and earning a bid to the NCAA South Regional Tournament.
