TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ The Tuskegee University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce its expanded broadcast coverage of Golden Tigers Men and Women's Basketball and Tuskegee Spring Sports through the Golden Tigers Sports Network (GTSN). Launched during the 2022-23 basketball season, GTSN is the officially sanctioned streaming platform for Golden Tigers Athletics.
The 2023-24 season marks the first time in Tuskegee's history that a full season of basketball will be streamed. GTSN will provide live coverage of the approximately 56 games that make up the women and men's combined schedule. All home games will be video streamed and all road games will be audio streamed. In addition, the network will build on its coverage from last year, with more select spring sports games including feature match ups from Tuskegee Softball and Baseball.
"This is an integral part of our long-term plan," said Athletic Director Reginald Ruffin. "Our goal is to make GTSN more comprehensive in its coverage of all Tuskegee intercollegiate athletic teams and to showcase our incredible student-athletes. This is another step in that direction. The network will also allow supporters of Tuskegee Athletics, regardless of where they are, to enjoy quality coverage of the games."
Streaming coverage begins on November 10-11, 2023 with the men's basketball team appearing in The Gulf South Conference/Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Challenge at Shorter College. Coverage of the defending SIAC Champion Women's team begins on Monday, November 13, 2023 from the Daniel "Chappie" James Center on the Tuskegee campus with the Golden Tigers hosting the Rams of the University of Mobile.
