TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Golden Tiger men's basketball team is set to host a pair of Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) games at the Daniel "Chappie" James Center, beginning with LeMoyne-Owen on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Tuskegee (13-4, 8-2 SIAC) will look to continue their strong play in conference after defeating four SIAC opponents on the road to start 2023. They are currently 5-3 at home and enter the contest on a six-game win streak.
LeMoyne-Owen comes into the contest at 10-6 and a 5-4 mark in conference play, although they have dropped their past two games against Savannah State (Jan. 2) and Miles (Jan. 9). The Magicians are 6-2 on the in Memphis, while maintaining a 3-3 record away from home.
Lane enters the weekend under .500 at 5-10, and 3-6 in the SIAC. The Dragons have lost four straight coming into the weekend, including three SIAC games, including losses at Savannah State (Jan. 4) and against Miles (Jan. 7) in their last contest.
