TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee men's basketball is set to participate in the HBCU All Stars Challenge in Atlanta, Ga., hosted in the Forbes Arena, as they face Fayetteville State and Shaw over the weekend.
The Golden Tigers (3-0, 0-0 SIAC) will take on the Broncos of Fayetteville State on Friday afternoon, while going up against Shaw on Saturday.
Fayetteville State is coming into the game with a 1-2 record, with their lone win over Frostburg State, along with losses to East Stroudsburg and UNC Pembroke. Meanwhile, Shaw is coming into the weekend at 0-3, falling to Davis & Elkins, West Virginia State, and Mount Olive on Tuesday.

GAME NOTES
- Tuskegee picked up their third straight non-conference game to start the season on Tuesday, as they defeated Georgia College and State University 48-47 inside of the Daniel "Chappie" James Center.
- Guard D'Anthony Pennington (Kansas City, Mo.) has continued his strong start to the season, securing the win against. GCSU with a pull up mid-range jumper with less that five seconds to play in the game. The sophomore is currently averaging 18.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game so far on the year.
- Reco Hallmon (Atlanta, Ga.) and Martez Jones (Tuskegee, Ala.) are also averaging double digits through three games so far, with Hallmon posting numbers of 11.3 points, two rebounds, and an assist in 26 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Jones has put up numbers of 10.0 points, seven rebounds and two steals and 1.7 blocks per game in 25 minutes, followed by Deveraux Davis (Minneapolis, Minn.) who has averaged 9.7 points, four rebounds, and one steal so far.
