Natrone Means
The Associate Head Coach/Running Backs Coach for WSSU is Natrone Means, who played
running back in the NFL from 1993-2000. Means played in Super Bowl XXIX in 1994 and at the
time was the youngest player to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl at age 22.
First ever near HBCU Natty
In 2012, the Rams played for the Division II National Championship football game on
December 15, 2012. They lost, 35-7, to Valdosta State University, finishing the season, 14-1,
the best of any historically black college/university.

Robert Massey
In 1989, Rams head coach Robert Massey was drafted by the New Orleans Saints, and was
named to the 1989 NFL All-Rookie Team. Massey was later selected to the 1992 Pro Bowl as a
member of the Phoenix Cardinals.

Jamarcus Ezell got the start at quarterback against Kentucky State and scored on the opening
drive of the second half with a QB sneak. He now has found the endzone at least once in
