The Tuskegee University baseball team had everything working on Friday, claiming a pair of victories over The LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tenn.
 
TU got on the board in the first inning. Corey Stallings singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. The Golden Tigers went on to produce five more runs in the second inning. Skegee received huge bats from Elgin Woodside, Matthew Reed, and Caleb Cobb, all driving in runs during that frame.
 
Christian Marshall picked up the win for TU. He allowed five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.
 
J Rachmann took the loss for LOC. He surrendered 15 runs on 15 hits over seven innings, striking out four.
 
Woodside launched the game's only homerun when put one out in the first inning.
 
The Golden Tigers racked up 15 hits in the game. Stallings, Dominic Johnson, Cobb, Reed, and Ryan Green all managed multiple hits for TU. Johnson and Stallings each collected three hits.
 


Tuskegee University took the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians Varsity on Friday. The game was tied at two with Tuskegee University batting in the top of the seventh when Emory Willis drew a walk, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Hunter Hudson struck out five, while LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians Varsity pitchers sat down three.

LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians Varsity got things moving in the first inning. E Mills hit a solo homer. Tuskegee University evened things up at two in the top of the fifth inning. Tuskegee University scored one run when Corey Stallings singled. Hudson earned the win for Tuskegee . He went seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out five. T. Thompson took the loss for LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians Varsity. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking zero.

T Noland started the game for LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians Varsity. He went six and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out two

Stallings went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Tuskegee University in hits. Tuskegee University didn't commit a single error in the field. Ryan Green had the most chances in the field with six.

Tuskegee concludes its three-game set with LOC with a Saturday double-header that starts at 4 p.m. ET
