In the second half, Tuskegee tried to stay close. But Fuller showed his all-around game on consecutive possessions. First, he knocked down a 3-pointer that put the Miles lead back into double figures. on the defensive end, he got a steal, drove the right wing, used one hand to slam the hammer down on the Golden Tigers for a 40-27 lead with 10:57 left. It sent an already raucous crowd into hysterics and forced a TU timeout. The lead would never dip into single digits again from the point and would get as high as 20 points late in the game.
