*With TU's 20-0 win over Albany State, the team was able to avoid losing back to back games. A scenario that has not happened since the 2013 season when the Golden Tigers ended the regular season with with a loss against Miles and a first round playoff defeat at North Alabama

30 Years ago (Saturday)
*Tuskegee defeated Clark Atlanta 28-6 in the third game of the season. The 28 points scorec turned out to be a season high and the six points allowed was a season-low for the TU defense.

Clark's Offensive Coordinator
*CAU's Offensive Coordinator is Willie "Satellite" Totten, who was the starting quarterback at Mississippi Valley State University and known for his days as the signal caller that had Jerry Rice as his target at wide receiver.

SIAC Players of the Week
* Tuskegee University punter Dalton Hall  and defensive back Rorrick Steward has been named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Players of the Week. The league office made the announcement Monday afternoon following action from week 2. Hall was recognized as the Special Teams Player of the Week while Steward earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week honor.

*Out of 165 NCAA Division II teams, Tuskegee is ranked 15 in Total Defense. The Golden Tigers defense is only giving up 242 yards per game
