Tuskegee's big fifth inning propelled the Golden Tigers over Kentucky State for a 13-8 final Sunday afternoon in a series finale at Paterson Field. The Thorobreds however won the series after claiming a pair of games Saturday evening.
Both teams played to a pair of scoreless innings until things heated in the third when the Thorobreds plated a trio of runs, taking a commanding 3-0 lead.  TU would not be outdone scoring two runs of their own.  
Ronald McGhee singled up the middle allowing 
Keldric Burton to score. Selochan' double to right center drove in McGhee, making the score 3-2. 
Trailing 4-3 in the fifth inning, 
Lane Williams opened the flood gates with a Grand Slam that gave the Golden Tigers its first lead of the game at 7-4. 
Skegee would pound away and secure four more runs ro round out the scoring at 13-8
Williams had big day at the plate for tor TU going 2-of-4 with five RBI and scoring three runs. 
Gabriel Selochan was also 2-of-4 with a pair of runs scored and one RBI on the day. 
Ronald McGhee rounded out the hitting for the Golden Tigers earning three hits on five at bats, scoring two runs and two RBI.
TU will travel to Columbus, Ga. for a midweek rematch of last week's battle with Columbus State. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. Follow the game via live stas
