Tuskegee University swept Paine College Saturday evening in a  double-header at Paterson Field in Montgomery, Ala. The Golden Tigers took game one 1-0 and game still 3-0
Game 1
Trey Nelson had all the right stuff on Saturday for Tuskegee as he didn't allow any runs and besting Paine College by a score of 1-0 while also striking out 11 batters. He went seven innings, allowing zero runs on five hits and zero walks.
Krenz started the game for Paine College. He went six innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out eight.
Ryan Green and Lane Williams each managed one hit to lead TU. The Golden Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field. Ronald McGhee had 13 chances in the field, the most on the team.
Paine College racked up five hits. Lopez and Guzman all managed multiple hits.Â
Game 2
 In game 2, Christian Marshall struck out ten, while Torres sat down six. TU got on the board in the first inning. Gabriel Selochan's sac fly scored one run for the Golden Tigers.
Marshall led things off on the hill for TU. He went seven innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out ten. Torres toed the rubber for Paine College. He allowed five hits and three runs over six innings, striking out six. Keldric Burton, Dominic Johnson, Ryan Green, Matthew Reed, and Lajerrius Haralson each collected one hit to lead the Golden Tigers. Tuskegee didn't commit a single error in the field. Elgin Woodside had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
Paine College tallied four hits on the day. Dixon and McNeil each had multiple hits for Paine College.
Tuskegee and Paine is set to close out the three game series Sunday from Paterson Field at 11:00 a.m.
