Cam Grepke scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Tuskegee University men's basketball team, but a slow first half resulted in a 69-60 loss at Albany State in a Friday night finale from Albany (Ga.). The Golden Tigers will await their fate in terms of seeding for next week's conference tournament in Birmingham (Ala.).
TU was outscored by 16 points in the first (40-24) having never led for the entire contest. They also allowed four to score in double figures for the Golden Rams, with Jared Harrington scoring a team-high 15 points.

Travis Flagg, received a career high from Grepke who was inserted into the starting lineup. To go along with his career night, the Mobile, Ala. native also pulled down five rebounds.
James Eads, the only other TU player in double figures scored 12 of his 18 points from the free throw line.
TU would get to within five points (57-52) with 6:20 remaining, but would not get any closer. The Golden Rams scored 21 points off of 19 Tuskegee turnovers and also outscored their bench 29-6
The Golden Tigers will compete next week at 2018 SIAC Basketball Tournament that takes place Feb. 26-March 3 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham (Ala.)
